温泉に入って、疲れを癒した後は、旅館や居酒屋で、獺祭をはじめとする「山口の地酒」や「ふぐ」、熱した瓦にそばをのせた「瓦そば」などグルメが楽しめます。
After refreshing your body in the hot springs, have a taste of the best local specialties either at your ryokan (Japanese style hotel) or at the many izakaya (Japanese-style pub) nearby: don’t miss the chance of trying kawara-soba (green tea-flavored buckwheat noodles served on a hot tile), and fugu (pufferfish), accompanied by a glass of one of the regional sake brands, such as the world-famous Dassai.

Complete your experience by wearing a kimono to a stroll to the five-storied pagoda of Rurikōji temple (a National Treasure and one of the three most beautiful in Japan), and test your skills at a washi (Japanese traditional paper) workshop.
