Water and Sewage Services

●To Begin Water Services

In order to begin water services, please call Yamaguchi City Waterworks and Sewerage Service Billing Center.
( TEL: 083-933-6664)

Also fill out the post card of "Water Service Registration"which can be found in the mailbox and sent it to the center. (In some apartments, the landlord calculates the water usage.　In this case, speak to the landlord about water services and bill).

●About Water Bill

• Water bill is the combination of basic charge and water consumption charge. A water bill will be issued every 2 months.
  
  
• In areas where have public sewer systems are in place, the sewerage rate will also be charged in the water bill.
  
  
• In addition to financial institutions such as banks and post offices, the payments of the water bill can be made at convenience stores. Also consumers can use automatic transfers from bank accounts for the payment of the water.

Basic rate for 2 months is as follows:

Basic water service \1,920 (a tap of 20mm caliber and under) \1,880 for Ogori areas

Sewer service \2,400

In addition to the basic rate,water consumption charge and tax will be added on the bill.
