Telephone Charges
International telephone rates are quite expensive. When making international phone calls it is better to make a call during the evening and late night periods of time when rates are less expensive.

Operator Assisted Calls (KDDI)

  • Operator assisted calls can be made by calling only KDDI , and calls will be more expensive than regular ones.
  • By calling 0051, tell the operator the type of call you wish to make and then ask her to connect your call to the person you wish to talk.

《Types of Calls》

  • Number requested Cal : Tell the operator only the telephone number of the party you wish to talk-Anyone who will accept the call can answer the phone. A number requested call is inexpensive than a person requested call.

  • Person requested Call : Tell the operator the telephone number and name of the person you wish to talk No fees will be charged until the person answers the phone. If the person is not at home, no fees will be charged.

  • Collect Call: The person you wish to talk will pay for a call. Tell the operator the telephone number and name of the person you wish to talk - the call will be transferred to the party after receiving consent of talk from the person.
